Beaded Maasai bracelet. Made of glass beads, recycled plastic, metal and wire. Traditionally worn by both men and women of the Maasai tribe. A popular design worn by the Maasai warriors, often stacked on the wrists to create a cascading spectrum of colors. Handmade in Kenya by a female artisan of the Maasai tribe. Named this piece after a resident leopard we encountered during our visit, who the Samburu tribe named Ugali, because he loved eating the namesake local African dish.
